Ingredients:
- Moong daal 375 gm
- Onion 1
- Tomatoes 2
- Dry chilies 6
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Garlic chopped 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds roasted 2 tsp
- Finely chopped ginger 2 tsp
- Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
- Tamarind pulp 2 tbsp
- Oil as required
Method:
- Put water in moong daal and cook on low flame.
- When daal tender nicely, close stove.
- Now heat oil and fry onion slightly.
- Then put garlic, tomatoes, ginger, red chili powder, salt, cumin and dry chilies and roast it nicely.
- Now add this masala in daal, mix it and put tamarind pulp.
- Then close stove and take out daal in dish.
- Then sprinkle roasted masalay and 2 tsp cumin and serve.
Zeera Moong Daal is Delicious & Healthy Dish. It has Rich Aroma of Cumin Seeds. It can be served with Plain Rice.
