Ingredients:

  • Moong daal 375 gm
  • Onion 1
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Dry chilies 6
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Garlic chopped 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds roasted 2 tsp
  • Finely chopped ginger 2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  • Tamarind pulp 2 tbsp
  • Oil as required

Method:

  1. Put water in moong daal and cook on low flame.
  2. When daal tender nicely, close stove.
  3. Now heat oil and fry onion slightly.
  4. Then put garlic, tomatoes, ginger, red chili powder, salt, cumin and dry chilies and roast it nicely.
  5. Now add this masala in daal, mix it and put tamarind pulp.
  6. Then close stove and take out daal in dish.
  7. Then sprinkle roasted masalay and 2 tsp cumin and serve.

Zeera Moong Daal is Delicious & Healthy Dish. It has Rich Aroma of Cumin Seeds. It can be served with Plain Rice.
