Bun Kabab by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

For Bun:

  • Flour 1/2 kg
  • Yeast 3 tbsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Sugar 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Kabab:

  • Beef mince 300 gm
  • Chana daal 100 gm
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Eggs 3-4
  • Bread slices 2-3
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste

For Serving:

  • Tomato 1-2
  • Cucumber 1-2
  • Onion rings 1
  • Khatti meethi podina chutney as required

Method:

  1. For bun: Put flour, yeast, sugar and salt in mixing bowl, mix it an knead it.
  2. Then leave it in warm place.
  3. When mixture rises, set in mold and leave for 30 minutes.
  4. Now bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees C for 12-15 minutes, take it out and keep it aside.
  5. For kabab: Add beef mince, chana daal, red chili powder, all spice powder, black pepper, cumin powder, ginger garlic paste, salt and water as required in pot and cook until water dries.
  6. Now put in chopper, add bread slices, mix it nicely and make kabab.
  7. Now beat eggs.
  8. Then heat oil in pan, dip kabab in eggs, fry it, take it out and keep it aside.
  9. For make bun kabab and serving: Cut bun from center.
  10. Spread chutney on bun and keep kabab.
  11. Now keep onion and close kabab with other part of bun.
  12. Then keep kabab on serving plate.
  13. Also put chutney and ketchup and serve.

Bun Kabab is Tasty Dish. It is Pakistani Sandwich Dish and its Origin is Karachi. It is usually eaten in Roadside Stalls & Restaurants. It is served with Chutney, Ketchup and Cold Drink.
