Ingredients:

  • Potatoes 1/2 kg
  • Green peas 1 kg
  • Green chilies 6
  • Onion paste 1 cup
  • Tomato paste 1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili crushed 2 tsp
  • Cream 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 2 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion paste until light golden brown.
  2. Now mix tomato paste, yogurt, salt, red chilies, ginger garlic paste, turmeric and cumin in pot and add in onion.
  3. Then roast it, put peas and potatoes and roast it nicely.
  4. Then put 2 cups water and cook it nicely.
  5. When tender, put cream, coriander leaves and green chilies and close stove.

Matar Aloo Malai is Healthy Dish. It is prepared with Potatoes & Peas and it has flavor of Cream. It is served with Roti.
