Ingredients:
For Base:
- Butter 2 oz
- Brown sugar 2 oz
- Pineapple slices 6-8
- Cherries as required
For Cake:
- Butter 8 oz
- Caster sugar 8 oz
- Flour 8 oz
- Baking powder 2 tsp
- Pineapple essence 1 tsp
- Eggs 4
- Yellow color few drops
- Pineapple syrup 1/4 cup
Method:
- For base: Melt butter and put in 9 inch cake tin.
- Now sprinkle brown sugar.
- Then spread pineapple slice and keep cherry in between pineapple.
- For cake: Heat oven on mark 4.
- Now sieve flour and baking powder 3 times.
- Then beat butter and caster sugar until light and fluffy.
- Now add eggs one by one, put each egg and beat it nicely.
- Then put pineapple essence and yellow color.
- Now fold it in sieved flour and baking powder with pineapple syrup.
- Now mix it lightly.
- Now put on base and bake for 45 minutes.
- Then cool it and serve.
Pineapple Upside Down Cake is Delicious Dessert. It is Other Variety of Cake. It is baked, turned over and served upside down.
