Vegetable Cheese Kulcha by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Maida 1/2 kg
  • Baking soda 1 pinch
  • Ghee 1/2 cup
  • Yeast 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Milk as required

For Filling:

  • Boiled potatoes 2
  • Finely chopped onion 1
  • Finely chopped green chilies 4
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves 1 cup
  • Finely chopped mint leaves 1 cup
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Crushed red chilies 2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped pomegranate 4 tbsp
  • Butter as required
  • Cheddar cheese 1 cup
  • Boiled peas 1 cup
  • Finely chopped capsicum 1 cup

Method:

  1. Put yeast, salt, ghee and baking soda in maida, knead with milk and leave for 1 hour.
  2. Put potatoes, pomegranate, onion, green chilies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, cumin, salt, red chilies, peas and capsicum in pot and mix it.
  3. Then make small small kulchay of knead flour and spread masala.
  4. Noe put cheddar cheese and leave for 30 minutes.
  5. Then bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees C for 30 minutes.
  6. Vegetable cheese kulcha is ready.
