Prawn Lababdar Biryani by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Prawns 1/2 kg
  • Boiled rice 1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Chopped tomatoes 3
  • Grinded green chilies 10
  • Grinded coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  • Coconut milk 1/2 cup
  • Aloo bukhara 6
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Fried onion 1/2 cup
  • Yellow color 1 pinch
  • Kewra 1 tbsp
  • Oil 3/4 cup

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry all spice, ginger garlic, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, tomatoes and 1/2 cup water.
  2. Now put yogurt.
  3. Then add prawns, cook for 10 minutes and put fried onion and lemon juice.
  4. For assemble: Make 1 layer of boiled rice and spread prawns with masalay.
  5. Now put coriander leaves and green chilies in center, make 1 more layer of rice, put kewra and yellow color and simmer it for 20 minutes.
