Ingredients:

  • Whole wheat flour 2 cup
  • Peas peeled 2 cup
  • Lemons 4
  • Green chilies 4
  • Onion chopped 1-2
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Cumin roasted 1 tsp
  • Flour 2 tbsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Mix some salt in flour and knead with lukewarm water.
  2. Now grind peas in chopper slightly.
  3. Then mix chili powder, black pepper, cumin, lemon juice, green chilies and salt.
  4. Then heat 2 tbsp oil in frying pan and stir fry masalay peas.
  5. Now take it out, cool it and mix onion.
  6. Then make one portion, roll like roti and put peas mixture in center.
  7. Now spread dissolved flour in water on edges.
  8. Then make second roti, keep it and close edges.
  9. Then heat tawa and toast paratha like roti.
  10. After toasting from both sides, put oil.
  11. Serve with yogurt raita and imli ki chutney.

Matar Ka Paratha is Indian Subcontinent dish. It is new variety of paratha. It is prepared with peas and can be served with peas.
