Lemon Cake by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Butter 4 oz
- Caster sugar 6 oz
- Eggs 2
- Lemon rind grated 1
- Flour 6 oz
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Milk 2 fl oz
For Topping:
- Lemon juice 1 lemon
- Sugar 4 oz
Method:
- Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Then add eggs and beat it.
- Now add lemon rind, milk and flour.
- Now put mixture in greased pan and bake on 190 degrees for 50 minutes or until golden.
- For topping: Mix lemon juice and sugar.
- Then spoon topping on hot cake.
- Then cool completely.
- Cut into squares or diamond and serve.
