Ingredients:
- Mutton 750 gm
- Oil 3/4 cup
- Chili powder 3 tsp
- Coriander powder 3 tsp
- Salt 2 tsp
- Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
- Fried onion 1 cup
- Yogurt 1-1/2 cup
- Cinnamon 3
- Clove 6
- Black pepper 10
- Black cardamom 2
- Mace ground 1/4 tsp
- Nutmeg ground 1/4 tsp
- Green cardamom 1/2 tsp
- Potatoes 3
- Yellow color 1 pinch
- Kewra 1 tbsp
- Milk 1/2 cup
- Saffron 1/2 tsp
- Rice 750 gm
Method:
- Heat oil, put cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, black cardamom, ginger garlic paste and mutton and fry for 5 minutes.
- Now add onion with chili powder, coriander powder and salt, put some water and fry it nicely.
- Then add 1 cup water, cover it and cook until meat in nearly done.
- Now add tomatoes and yogurt and simmer it on low flame until potatoes tender.
- Then put nutmeg, mace and green cardamom.
- For assemble: Make layer of 375 gm of rice in pan and make layer of meat and potatoes.
- Now make layer of second rice, put fried onion, milk & saffron mixture and 1/4 cup ghee and simmer it for 15 minutes.
Memoni Masalaydar Biryani is Memoni Dish. It is new variety of biryani.
