Tamatar Murgh Kofta by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

For Koftay:

  • Chicken mince 1/2 kg
  • Green chilies 6
  • Coriander leaves 4 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Bread slice 1
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup

For Bhagar:

  • White cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Curry leave 15

For Curry:

  • Onion 2
  • Tomatoes 4
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Grind chicken mince with ginger garlic, salt, coriander leaves, green chilies, corn flour and bread slice.
  2. Now take it out and make koftay.
  3. For curry: Heat oil, put cumin seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves with blended onion, blended tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, salt, chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder and cumin powder and fry it nicely.
  4. Then add koftay, cover it and cook until it is ready.
  5. Then add 1/2 cup water for gravy and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Then garnish with coriander leaves and serve.

Tamatar Murgh Kofta is easy, simple and tasty dish. It is prepared with chicken and served in curry. Shireen Anwer has made it with her own recipe.
