Chanay Ka Pulao by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • White chickpeas (boiled) 1/2 kg
  • Green chilies 10
  • Tomatoes 375 gm
  • Garlic 6 cloves
  • Ginger 1 piece
  • Turmeric 1tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Onions 2
  • Water 3 glass
  • Cumin seeds 2 tsp
  • Black peppercorns 1 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion until brown.
  2. Now put ginger, garlic, tomatoes, green chilies, turmeric, salt, cumin and black peppercorns and roast it nicely.
  3. Then add 2 glass water and chickpeas.
  4. When 1-2 boils comes, put soaked rice and cook it.
  5. Water dries, simmer it and close stove after 10 minutes.
  6. Chanay ka pulao is ready.

Chanay Ka Pulao is common dish in Pakistan. It is tasty dish. Rida Aftab has made it with her own recipe.
