Whole Wheat Crackers by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour 1 cup
  • Baking soda 1/4 tsp
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Sesame seeds 2 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Milk 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in bowl, then mix sesame seeds, poppy seeds and black pepper.
  2. Using your fingertips, rub in butter, until it resembles find breadcrumbs.
  3. Make well in center, then add cold milk.
  4. Now mix it with your hands to make smooth dough.
  5. Don't over mix.
  6. Chill dough for 15 minutes in fridge.
  7. Roll dough into circle.
  8. Prick it all over and cut into shapes.
  9. Place then on baking sheet.
  10. Bake crackers for 20-30 minutes at 180 degrees C or until lightly golden.
  11. Place on wire rack to cool down completely.
  12. You can serve crackers with various topping or plain.

Whole Wheat Crackers is baked food. It is served as snacks. It is prepared with flour and served with different toppings.
