Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • White vinegar 1/2 cup
  • Yellow food color few
  • Lemons 4
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
  • Crushed black pepper 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 4 tbsp
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Mix yellow color and vinegar and spread on chicken.
  2. Now roast cumin seeds and roast it.
  3. Then mix ginger garlic paste, black pepper, red chili flakes, cumin and salt and spread on chicken with help of lemons for 1 hour.
  4. Now put in pot and dry water on low flame.
  5. Then heat oil in wok and fry chicken on low flame.
  6. Then golden brown from all sides, take it out.
  7. Delicious chicken charga is ready.
  8. After frying it, heat little oil in pot, put chicken charga and simmer it for few minutes.

Chicken Charga is delicious & deep fried dish. It is Lahore, Pakistan dish. It is deep fried in oil and it is served with raita & naan.
