Ingredients:
- Mutton 1 kg
- Chopped onion 1
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Tomato puree 1 cup
- Cream 1/2 cup
- Salt 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Dry milk 1/2 cup
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Nutmeg 1/4 tsp
- Mace 1/4 tsp
- All spice powder 1/2 tsp
- Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
- Kewra 2 tbsp
- Oil as required
Method:
- Marinate mutton with salt, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste, tomato puree and yogurt.
- Now cover it and leave for 30 minutes.
- Then heat oil and fry onion until golden.
- Now put marinated mutton and 2 glass water, cover it and cook on low flame until meat tender and water dries.
- Then do flame high, add dry milk and stir it for 5 minutes.
- Now put cream, all spice powder, nutmeg, mace and cardamom powder, mix it nicely and simmer it for 5 minutes.
- Then put kewra and serve hot with naan.
Shahi Gosht is delicious & classic dish. It is prepared with marinated mutton and served with hot naan.
