Ingredients :
- Oil for frying
- Bread slice 3
- Yogurt 250 gm
- Sugar 1/4 tsp
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Garlic 1/2 tsp
For Batter:
- Gram flour 1/2cup
- Water as required
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Cumin 1tsp
- Baking soda 1/4 tsp
For Red Chutney:
- Tamarind pulp 2 tbsp
- Sugar 3 tbsp
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Cumin 1 tbsp
- Water as required
Method:
- Cut bread slices into round.
- For batter: Mix all ingredients.
- Then add garlic, sugar and salt in yogurt and keep it aside.
- Now heat oil in wok.
- Then dip bread slices in batter, put in wok and fry it.
- When golden take it out and put water.
- Now squeeze water and mix in yogurt mixture.
- Then put chaat masala and red chutney and serve.
- For red chutney: Mix all ingredients and red chutney is ready.
Bread Dahi Baray is side dish. It is common dish in Pakistan. It is specially eaten in Iftar in Ramadan in Pakistan. It is served with Chaat Masala.
