Ingredients:
- Green gram lentil 250 gm
- Potato 1
- Carrot 1
- Eggplant 1
- Tomato 2
- Green chilies 4
- Boiled eggs 4
- Curry leaves 6
- Garlic cloves 6
- Stock 2 cups
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Salt 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves as required
Method:
- Heat oil and put garlic and curry leaves.
- Now add carrot, eggplant and potato and fry it.
- Then put red chili powder, turmeric, salt and stock and cook for 15-20 minutes.
- Now add green gram.
- When it boils 1-2, take out in dish and keep eggs in slices.
- Then sprinkle chopped green chilies and coriander leaves.
Nargisi Daal is tasty dish. It is prepared with green gram, topped with boiled eggs and serve with naan.
