Ingredients:

  • Green gram lentil 250 gm
  • Potato 1
  • Carrot 1
  • Eggplant 1
  • Tomato 2
  • Green chilies 4
  • Boiled eggs 4
  • Curry leaves 6
  • Garlic cloves 6
  • Stock 2 cups
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves as required

Method:

  1. Heat oil and put garlic and curry leaves.
  2. Now add carrot, eggplant and potato and fry it.
  3. Then put red chili powder, turmeric, salt and stock and cook for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Now add green gram.
  5. When it boils 1-2, take out in dish and keep eggs in slices.
  6. Then sprinkle chopped green chilies and coriander leaves.

Nargisi Daal is tasty dish. It is prepared with green gram, topped with boiled eggs and serve with naan.
