Chola Pulao by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:
- Boiled chickpeas 1 cup
- Boiled black chickpeas 1 cup
- Rice 1/2 kg
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Onion slice 1
- Whole mix spices 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Sambal oleak 1 tbsp
- Whipped yogurt 1/2 cup
- White cumin 1 tsp
- Yellow curry paste 1 tbsp
- Green chilies 3
Method:
- Heat oil and fry onion until light golden.
- Now put whole mixed spices, sambal oleak, yellow curry paste, salt, chickpeas, black chickpeas and yogurt and fry it.
- Then add rice, green chilies and 2 cup water and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
- Now simmer it on low flame and serve with raita.
Chola Pulao is amazing dish. It is prepared with white & black chickpeas. Shireen Anwer has made it with her own recipe. It is served with raita.
