Chicken Shinwari Karahi by Farzana Anwar

Ingredients:
- Chicken 1 kg
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Yogurt 1/4 cup
- Finely chopped onion 1/2 cup
- Chopped tomatoes 2 cups
- Salt 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 2 tsp
- Crushed coriander seeds 2 tsp
- Crushed cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Finely chopped green chilies 2 tbsp
- Finely chopped coriander leaves for garnish
- Green chilies slice for garnish
- Ginger julienne for garnish
- Karahi masala powder for garnish
Method:
- Heat oil in wok and stir fry chopped onion until light golden.
- Now put ginger garlic paste and stir for 1-2 minutes.
- Then add chicken and stir it slightly for 3-4 minutes.
- Then put tomatoes with salt, red chili powder, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and 1/2 cup water and simmer it for 25-30 minutes until chicken tender.
- Now add yogurt and chopped green chilies and mix for 5-6 minutes till oil separates.
- Then put coriander leaves, green chilies, ginger and karahi masala powder.
