Ingredients:

  • Khoya 250 gm
  • Ghee 1 cup
  • Chopped almonds 2 oz
  • Sugar 6 oz
  • Kewra 2 tsp
  • Semolina 2 tsp
  • White lentil flour 2 tsp
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Yellow color 1 pinch

Method:

  1. Put ghee in wok and fry white lentil flour and semolina on low flame nicely.
  2. Now put khoya and stir it until khoya is soft.
  3. Then put sugar and stir more on low flame.
  4. Then add kewra, yellow color and 1 tbsp ghee in mixture, fry it and stir it.
  5. Now put 1 tbsp more ghee and fry for 5 minutes.
  6. Add 1 tbsp more and fry it.
  7. When bubbles coming start on top surface, put chopped almonds and fry it.
  8. Then add cardamom powder.
  9. When halwa leaves sides, take it out in square pan and decorate with almonds.
  10. Now cool it, cut in small pieces and serve.
