Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Brown onion 4 tbsp
  • Desiccated coconut 1 tbsp
  • Almonds 10
  • Poppy seeds 1 tsp
  • Saffron 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • All spice 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Mint leaves 10-12
  • Whole green chilies 4
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Cinnamon 1
  • Green cardamom 4

Method:

  1. Put coconut, coriander powder, red chili powder, all spice, turmeric, almonds, poppy seeds and ginger garlic in yogurt and mix it.
  2. Heat oil and put cinnamon and green cardamom.
  3. Also add mutton and fry it nicely.
  4. Then put yogurt with all masalay and fry it nicely.
  5. Then add 2 cup water, cover it and cook until meat tender.
  6. Then add brown onion, coriander leaves, mint leaves and saffron.
  7. When oil comes up, take it out.

Mutton Korma is delicious gravy dish. It is commonly eaten in Pakistan. It can also be prepared with chicken & beef. It is served with salad & naan.
