Walnut Barfi by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Walnuts 1 cup
  • Khoya 1/2 kg
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Ghee for greasing

Method:

  1. Saute khoya in non stick pan for few minutes.
  2. Add sugar and continue to saute.
  3. Add walnut paste and green cardamom powder and saute for 2 minutes.
  4. Spread walnut mixture evenly on greased tray and cool down to room temperature.
  5. Refrigerate for 5-6 hours.
  6. Cut into desired shapes and serve.

Walnut Barfi is delicious sweet dish. It is new variety of barfi. Must try this at home and it is easy to prepare.
