Ingredients:
- Dalia 1/2 kg
- Chicken boneless 1/2 kg
- Salt 2 tsp
- Cream 1 packet
- Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Onion 1 large
- White pepper 1 tsp
- All spice 1 tsp
- Oil 1 cup
- Parsley as required
- Green chilies (6-8) for garnish
For Bhagar:
- Butter 1/2 cup
- Brown onion 2-3 tbsp
- Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
Method:
- Heat oil and fry onion until light golden.
- Now put ginger garlic paste with chicken boneless and fry for 5 minutes.
- Then put dalia and 1/2 cup lukewarm water and leave on low flame for 2 hours till it tender.
- Then blend mixture with salt, cinnamon powder, white pepper, all spice, parsley and cream.
- Then give bhagar of butter, brown onion and ginger chopped and garnish with green chilies.
Harissa is traditional Kashmiri spicy dish. It is prepared with meat & grains and garnished with green chilies & ginger.
