Ingredients:

  • Rice boiled 1 kg
  • Boneless chicken 1 kg
  • Potatoes 1/2 kg
  • Tomatoes 250 gm
  • Onions 250 gm
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Plum 100 gm
  • Onion seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Fennel seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Mix all spice 1 tbsp
  • Star anise 4
  • Coriander leaves 10 bunch
  • Green chilies 10
  • Biryani essence few drops
  • Yellow food color 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Mint leaves 1 bunch
  • Raw mango 250 gm

Method:

  1. Heat oil, fry onions and potatoes and fry it.
  2. Now fry chicken in this oil.
  3. Then put onion, tomatoes, yogurt, plum, onion seeds, fennel seeds, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric, all spice and star anise cover it.
  4. When chicken tender, put rice, coriander leaves, raw mango, mint leaves, green chilies, biryani essence and yellow color and simmer it.
  5. Achari khatti biryani is ready.

Achari Khatti Biryani is tasty & delicious dish. The flavor of raw mango (keri) is khatti. Must try this recipe at home.
