Ingredients:

  • Goat trotters 750 gm
  • Onion 1 cup
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Tomatoes 2-3
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Cinnamon 2
  • Whole black pepper 8-10
  • Whole cumin 1 tsp
  • Cloves 3-4
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 2 tsp
  • Tara garam masala 2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pressure cooker, add ginger garlic paste, put black pepper, cumin and trotters and fry for few minutes.
  2. Then add onion, tomatoes, salt, red chili powder and turmeric, cook until onion and tomatoes are soft, add 4-6 glass water, cover it for 45 minutes to 1 hour and cook it.
  3. Now open pressure cooker, sprinkle tara garam masala, stir it, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.

Paya Curry is tasty dish. It is prepared with mutton trotters & cooked in pressure cooker. It is commonly eaten in breakfast or in night with hot naan in Pakistan.
