Ingredients:

  • Boiled potatoes 1/2 kg
  • Fenugreek leaves 6 bunch
  • Crushed red chili 1 tbsp
  • Crushed green chilies 4
  • Finely chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Roasted & ground white cumin 1 tsp
  • Lemons 2
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Ghee or Oil as required
  • Flour 1 kg
  • Maida 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric few

Method:

  1. Wash fenugreek leaves nicely and soak in water with turmeric.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in wok, put ginger and red chilies and roast it slightly.
  3. Now roast fenugreek leaves nicely and add boiled & mashed potatoes.
  4. Also put, salt, black pepper, green chilies and cumin and roast it slightly.
  5. Then mix lemon juice and remove it.
  6. Now mix flour and salt and knead it.
  7. Then make 1 ball and roll like roti.
  8. Then spread potato methi mixture.
  9. Spread wet maida on edges, keep second roti on top and close edges.
  10. Then heat tawa, swot like roti, put ghee or oil with wooden spoon and swot it.
  11. Methi ky parathay is ready.

Methi Ky Parathay is delicious dish. It is easy & simple recipe to make. It is served in breakfast with raita or chutney.
