Lemon Gooey Butter Cake

Ingredients:

  • Maida 2 cups
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Butter 4 oz
  • Milk 1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Lemon essence 1/4 tsp

For Topping:

  • Cream cheese 200 gm
  • Eggs big 2
  • Butter 4 oz
  • Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
  • Icing sugar 8 oz

Method:

  1. Beat butter and sugar until creamy
  2. Now add eggs one by one with lemon essence.
  3. Then put maida, baking powder and salt.
  4. Also after putting cheese, add milk and lemon juice.
  5. Then fold maida in batter and take it out in greased baking dish.
  6. For topping: Beat all ingredients.
  7. Now spread on batter cake and bake on 180 degrees C for 40-45 minutes.
  8. Then cut into squares.

Lemon Gooey Butter Cake is delicious cake. The flavor of lemon is wonderful. Try this new variety of cake at home.
