Ingredients:

  • Moong daal 1 cup
  • Soy 2 bunches
  • Methi saag 1 dozen bunch
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Garlic cloves 6
  • Big cardamom 4
  • Whole black pepper 8
  • Oil as required
  • Green chilies few

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pot and fry garlic until golden brown.
  2. Then add ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric, red chili powder, cardamom and black pepper and roast it slightly.
  3. Now put daal, green chilies and saag, roast more for 5 minutes, cover it on low flame and tender daal in saag water.
  4. When water dries, simmer it on tawa, put coriander leaves and serve.

Bhuni Daal is healthy dish. It is prepared with moong daal & roasted on tawa. It is served with naan.
