Ingredients:
- Moong daal 1 cup
- Soy 2 bunches
- Methi saag 1 dozen bunch
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Garlic cloves 6
- Big cardamom 4
- Whole black pepper 8
- Oil as required
- Green chilies few
Method:
- Heat oil in pot and fry garlic until golden brown.
- Then add ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric, red chili powder, cardamom and black pepper and roast it slightly.
- Now put daal, green chilies and saag, roast more for 5 minutes, cover it on low flame and tender daal in saag water.
- When water dries, simmer it on tawa, put coriander leaves and serve.
Bhuni Daal is healthy dish. It is prepared with moong daal & roasted on tawa. It is served with naan.
