Ingredients:

  • Meat 1 kg
  • Boiled beetroot 1/2 kg
  • Onion 2
  • Green chilies 4
  • Tomatoes 1/2 kg
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Whole coriander 1 tbsp
  • Cumin 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tbsp
  • Crushed red chilies 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pot and fry onion until brown.
  2. Then put ginger garlic paste, coriander, cumin, coriander powder, red chilies and salt and roast it.
  3. Then add meat and lengthwise chopped tomatoes and simmer it for 20 minutes.
  4. When tomatoes tender, put beet root and roast it nicely.
  5. Also put lemon juice, green chilies, coriander leaves, black pepper and all spice powder.
  6. It is ready.

Chukandar Gosht is other variety of meat. It is prepared with beet root. You must try this recipe with your own technique.
