Ingredients:
- Arvi (big size) 1/2 kg
- Whole coriander 1 tbsp
- Crushed red chili 1 tbsp
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- White cumin 1 tsp
- Carom seeds 1 tsp
- Onion seeds 1 tsp
- Tamarind pulp 1/2 cup
- Lemon 2
- Salt to taste
- Fenugreek seeds 6-7
- Roasted & ground cumin 1 tsp
- Mustard 1 tsp
- Oil 1/2 cup
Method:
- Wash arvi nicely and boil it.
- Then cool arvi, peel it and keep it whole.
- Then mix coriander, red chili, turmeric, white cumin, carom seeds, onion seeds, tamarind pulp, lemon juice, salt, cumin and mustard nicely for 10 minutes.
- Then heat oil and put fenugreek seeds.
- When aroma comes, put masala arvi and simmer it for 10 minutes.
- Dum arvi is ready.
