Baisan Aur Sooji Ka Halwa

Ingredients:
- Gram flour 2 cups
- Small cardamom 8
- Raisins 10
- Fresh milk 1 cup
- Semolina 2 cups
- Sugar 3 cups
- Water 1/2 cup
- Ghee 1/2 cup
- Finely chopped almonds, pistachios as required
Method:
- Heat ghee in pot and put cardamom.
- When aroma comes, add semolina and gram flour, roast it nicely and take it out.
- Now put sugar and water in pot, cook for 5 minutes, add semolina and gram flour before making syrup and roast it again.
- When both ingredients combines, put raisins.
- Then add milk and stir it fast so that halwa rises.
- Now grease thali, spread halwa and sprinkle almonds and pistachios.
- When cool, cut into squares and serve.
Baisan Aur Sooji Ka Halwa is delicious sweet dish. It is prepared in winter in Pakistan. Try this with own technique.
