Ingredients:

  • Semolina 250 gm
  • Ghee 3/4 cup
  • Sugar 375 gm
  • Water 3 cups
  • Green cardamom 4
  • Kewra 1 tsp
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Almonds & Pistachios slice 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat ghee, fry green cardamom with semolina until light golden.
  2. Now remove from stove, add sugar and water and stir it until water dries.
  3. Then cover it and simmer it.
  4. Then put kewra and milk.
  5. Now put almonds and pistachios and serve.

Halwa is delicious sweet dish. It is common dish in Pakistan. It is served in parties and in breakfast with puri & cholay.
