Bengali Meethi Dal

Ingredients:
- Red lentil 250 gm
- Orange lentil 100 gm
- Dry or Fresh fenugreek 1 cup
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Green chilies 5-6
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- All spice powder 1 tbsp
- Whole red chilies 4-5
- Butter 4 tbsp
- Oil 4 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Put both lentils in pot.
- Then put red chili powder, turmeric, all spice powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and some water and cook it.
- Now put oil in pan, fry fenugreek, fry for 1-2 minutes or roast fenugreek on tawa, put in lentils and cook for 20-25 minutes.
- Then mash it, add green chilies, mix it nicely and cover for 5 minutes.
- Then take out lentils in serving bowl, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
Bengali Meethi Dal is delicious & little bit different dish. It is prepared with red & orange lentil.
