Burmese Chicken

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Onion 2
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Chopped ginger 2 tsp
  • Crushed garlic 2 tsp
  • Green chilies 3-4
  • Tomato 1
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Coconut milk 1 cup
  • Crushed black pepper 2 tsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves for garnish
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan, put onion and saute it.
  2. Now put green chilies, ginger and garlic and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Now put chicken, tomato, turmeric, coriander powder, black pepper, all spice and salt and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Now add yogurt and coconut milk and cook on low flame for 20 minutes.
  5. Then put coriander leaves and serve.

Burmese Chicken is wonderful dish. The addition of coconut milk is delicious. Try this recipe for some change.
