Skillet Cake Sundae

Ingredients:
- Flour 1 cup
- Baking soda 1/2 tsp
- Sugar 1 cup
- Salt pinch
- Butter 1/4 cup
- Oil 1/4 cup
- Coco powder 2 tbsp
- Water 1/2 cup
- Butter milk 1/4 cup
- Egg 1
- Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
For Frosting:
- Butter 1/4 cup
- Coco 2 tbsp
- Milk 3-4 tbsp
- Chopped walnuts 1/2 cup
- Icing sugar 1/2 cup
- Vanilla ice cream for serving
- Caramel sauce for drizzle
- Beaten cream for decoration
Method:
- Mix flour, baking soda, sugar and salt nicely and keep it aside.
- Then put butter, oil, coco powder and water in 10 inch iron cast skillet and boil it.
- Now remove from stove and add flour mixture.
- Then add butter milk, egg and vanilla essence and mix it.
- Now bake skillet cake in oven on 180 degrees C for 15-20 minutes or till toothpick comes out clean.
- For frosting: Add butter, coco and milk in small saucepan and boil it.
- Now remove from stove, add icing sugar and walnuts, mix it and combine it.
- Now put on hot cake, spread it with spatula and serve with ice cream, caramel sauce and cream.
Skillet Cake Sundae is delightful & wonderful dessert. The addition of buttermilk is amazing. You can top with any flavor of ice cream.
