Chicken Dalcha

Ingredients:
- Chicken (16 pieces) 1 kg
- Chana daal 250 gm
- Salt 1-1/2 tsp
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Green chilies 4
- Cloves 6
- Cinnamon 1 inch
- Bay leaf 1
- Brown onion 1/2 cup
- Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
- Green chilies 6
- Red chili powder 3 tsp
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder 1-1/2 tsp
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Lemon juice 1/4 cup
- Whole coriander 2 tbsp
- Curry leaves 45-50
For Bhagar:
- Ghee 1/4 cup
- Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
- Whole red chilies 6
Method:
- Heat 1/2 cup oil, put clove, cinnamon, bay leaf, brown onion, ginger garlic and chicken and fry for 2 minutes.
- Now put salt, red chili powder, turmeric, whole coriander and yogurt and fry more.
- Then add 3 cups water, put potli of curry leaves, cover it and simmer until chicken tender.
- Now take put potli, add lemon juice and grinded chana daal and cook for 15 minutes.
- Then put 6 green chilies and bhagar and serve.
Chicken Dalcha is traditional Indian dish. It is delicious gravy dish. You can prepare with any meat with lentils. Make it at home.
