Schezwan Soup

Ingredients:

  • Mince 2 oz
  • Chicken julienne 1/2 cup
  • Prawns 10
  • Mushroom slice 4
  • Finely chopped capsicum 3 tbsp
  • Stock 8 cups
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • White pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Finely chopped green onion 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Chili sauce 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Beaten egg 1
  • Corn flour 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Marinate mince, chicken and prawns with 1/2 tsp salt, white pepper and 1 tbsp soya sauce.
  2. Heat stock in pan.
  3. When it boils, add marinated mince, chicken, prawns, mushroom, capsicum, green onion, 1/2 tsp salt, 2 tbsp soya sauce, chili sauce and vinegar.
  4. Then put beaten egg.
  5. Thick soup with corn flour and serve hot.

Schezwan Soup is wonderful soup. The combination of chicken, prawns & mince is amazing. Try this new variety of soup in winter.
