Coffee Walnut Cake

Ingredients:
For Sponge:
- Walnuts 50 gm
- Caster sugar 225 gm
- Unsalted butter 2250 gm
- Flour 200 gm
- Coffee powder 4 tsp
- Baking powder 2-1/2 tsp
- Soda bi carb 1/2 tsp
- Eggs 4
- Milk 1-2 tbsp
For Butter Cream Frosting:
- Icing sugar 350 gm
- Unsalted butter 175 gm
- Coffee powder 2-1/2 tsp
- Chopped walnuts for decoration
Method:
- Put walnuts and cater sugar in grinder and grind it.
- Now put in food processor, add butter, flour, coffee powder, baking powder, soda and eggs and make smooth batter.
- Then add milk and mix it.
- Now divide mixture in 2 greased tin.
- Then keep tin in oven and bake on 180 degrees C for 25 minutes or cake rises.
- Now keep cake on wire rack and cool it completely.
- For frosting: Beat butter, add icing sugar and beat until smooth.
- Then dissolve coffee powder in 1 tbsp boiled water and blend with butter cream.
- Now keep 1 sponge cake on serving plate, spread half frosting and keep 2 sponge.
- Then spread remaining frosting, put chopped walnuts and serve.
