Biryani In A Dish

Ingredients:

  • Boiled rice 1/2 kg
  • Chicken (16 pieces) 1 kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Brown onion 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Capsicum 2
  • Tomatoes 3
  • Chopped potatoes (small cubes) 2
  • Sweet corn 1 cup
  • Boiled peas 1/2 cup
  • Boiled eggs 2
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Yellow color 1 pinch
  • Kewra 1 tsp
  • Chopped green chilies 4
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Chopped mint leaves 2 tbsp
  • Saffron 1/4 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil, put brown onion, red chili powder, ginger garlic, turmeric, salt, all spice and green chilies and fry it.
  2. Now add chicken with tomatoes and yogurt and fry more.
  3. Then put 1 cup water, cover it and cook until chicken tender.
  4. Then fry capsicum and onion with little rice.
  5. Then spread salt and all spice with boiled half rice in pyrex dish.
  6. Then put chicken, sweet corn, peas, eggs, potatoes, capsicum, remaining rice, coriander leaves, mint leaves, kewra and saffron and cover with foil.
  7. Now bake in preheated oven on 180 degrees C for 25 minutes.

Biryani In A Dish is tasty rice. It is prepared with same method but in different style. It is baked in oven. You must try this method.
