Ingredients:

  • Beef mince 1/2 kg
  • Egg 1
  • Onions 2
  • Green chilies 4
  • Boiled eggs 4
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Coconut 1 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Roasted chickpeas 4 tbsp
  • Oil as required

For Gravy:

  • Onion paste 250 gm
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Ghee 1/2 cup
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves, Green chilies, Chopped ginger for garnish
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Put beef mince, green chilies and onion in chopper and grind it.
  2. Now add egg, salt, red chili powder, coconut and poppy seeds, mix it nicely and coat on boiled eggs.
  3. Then fry in hot oil on medium flame, when golden brown take it out.
  4. Now heat oil, put fenugreek seeds, when aroma comes, add onion paste and fry until light pink.
  5. Then put red chili powder, salt and turmeric.
  6. Also add beaten yogurt and roast it nicely so that water dries.
  7. Now put 1 cup water, cook for 10 minutes, take out in dish and put eggs.
  8. Then garnish with coriander leaves, green chilies and chopped ginger, put  all spice powder and serve.

Nargisi Koftay is Mughlai dish. Boiled eggs is coated with mince. You can serve it with rice or naan.
