Fry Mash Ki Daal

Ingredients:
- Mash daal 1/2 kg
- Tomatoes 250 gm
- Finely chopped ginger 1
- Onion 1
- Green chilies 4
- Garlic cloves 4
- Butter 100 gm
- Crushed red chilies 1 tsp
- Fenugreek seeds 1 tbsp
- Cumin 2 tsp
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Oil 4 tbsp
Method:
- Put turmeric in mash daal, boil it and close stove when tender.
- Now heat oil in pot, fry onion until light pink, add green chilies, tomatoes, cumin, fenugreek seeds, red chilies and salt and roast it.
- Then put in daal, mix it nicely and close stove.
- For tarka: Heat butter, fry garlic cloves, put 2 tsp cumin and give tarka to daal.
Fry Mash Ki Daal is common dish in dhaba in Pakistan. You can make at home easily. It is served with naan.
