Chicken Szechwan

Ingredients:

  • Long chopped chicken 1/2 kg
  • White pepper 1/2 + 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 + 1/2 tsp
  • Egg white 1
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Chopped carrot julienne 1
  • Chopped capsicum julienne 1
  • Chopped cabbage julienne 1/2 cup
  • Chopped bamboo shoots julienne 2 tbsp
  • Crushed garlic 2 tbsp
  • Chili sauce 2 tbsp
  • Sweet sauce 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce 1 tbsp
  • Stock 1 cup
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with 1/2 tsp white pepper, 1/2 tsp salt, egg white, 2 tbsp corn flour and oil for 30 minutes, deep fry for 5 minutes and keep it aside.
  2. Now heat oil, put garlic, fry for 1 minute and add carrot, capsicum, cabbage, bamboo shoots and fried chicken.
  3. Now put chili sauce, sweet sauce, soya sauce, oyster sauce and stock and boil it.
  4. Then put corn flour paste and serve it.

Chicken Szechwan is wonderful dish. Chicken is marinated & cooked with sauces. It is served with rice.
