Chicken Chow Mein

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken breast (long chopped) 1
  • Salt 1/2 + 1 tsp
  • White pepper 1/2 + 1/2 tsp
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Egg white 1
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Bean sprout 1 cup
  • Cabbage slice 2 cups
  • Carrot slice 1 cup
  • Capsicum slice 1
  • Green onion leaves 1/2 cup
  • Boiled egg noodles 1 packet
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
  • Stock 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Boil egg noodles for 3 minutes.
  2. Now marinate chicken with salt, white pepper, corn flour, egg white and oil.
  3. Now deep fry for 5 minutes.
  4. For chow mein: Fry garlic slightly until light golden.
  5. Now add beans sprout, cabbage, carrot, capsicum, onion and fried chicken.
  6. Then add soya sauce, oyster sauce and stock, cook for 5 minutes and mix it nicely.
  7. When gravy dries, serve it.

Chicken Chow Mein is delicious Chinese stir fried noodles dish. It can be prepared with prawns or beef. You can make it easily at home.
