Kung Pao Prawns

Ingredients:

  • Prawns 1/2 kg
  • Salt 1/2 + 1/2 tsp
  • White pepper 1/2 + 1/4 tsp
  • Egg white 1
  • Corn flour 1 + 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Chili sauce 2 tbsp
  • Whole red chilies 10-12
  • Chopped capsicum 1
  • Chopped green onion 2
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Ketchup 4 tbsp
  • Stock 1 cup

Method:

  1. Add salt, white pepper, egg white and corn flour in prawns, mix it nicely and leave for 10 minutes.
  2. Now deep fry prawns in oil until golden.
  3. Then keep it aside.
  4. For gravy: Heat oil and fry garlic for 1 minute.
  5. Now put capsicum, green onion, onion, stock, chili sauce, whole red chilies, soya sauce and ketchup, add fried prawns and cook until it boils.
  6. Then put corn flour, thick it and serve.

Kung Pao Prawns is delicious dish. It is deep fried & served in ketchup gravy. It is easy recipe to make at home.
