Ingredients:

  • Turnip 1/2 kg
  • Carrot 1/2 kg
  • Fenugreek 1/2 kg
  • Potatoes 2
  • Eggplant 2
  • Cauliflower 250 gm
  • Okra 250 gm
  • Green chilies 6
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Peas 1 cup
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Tomatoes 1/2 kg
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Cumin 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Mustard 1 tsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 cup

Method:

  1. Boil tomatoes and grind it.
  2. Now fry turnip, carrot, fenugreek, potatoes, eggplant, cauliflower, peas and okra and take it out.
  3. Put tomatoes in remaining oil.
  4. Also add garlic, red chili powder, cumin, turmeric, salt, mustard and all spice and roast it.
  5. Then put fried vegetables, green chilies and coriander leaves and simmer it for 20 minutes.
  6. Shaljum aur gajar ki sabzi is ready.

Shaljum Aur Gajar Ki Sabzi is healthy vegetable dish. It is prepared with turnips, carrots, potatoes, cauliflower, potatoes, eggplant & peas. It is served with roti.
