Chana Dal Keema

Ingredients:

  • Beef mince 400 gm
  • Onion 1
  • Tomatoes 2-3
  • Boiled chana daal 1 cup
  • Gram flour 2 tsp
  • Ginger 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Tara garam masala 2 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Dry fenugreek leaves 2 tsp
  • Green chilies for garnish
  • Ginger for garnish
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan, put onion, ginger, garlic and beef mince and fry for few minutes.
  2. Then add tomatoes, red chili powder and turmeric and cook on low flame until tender.
  3. Then add chana daal and 1/2 cup water, cook on low flame for few minutes, add tara garam masala, green chilies, dry fenugreek leaves, lemon juice and ginger and cover it for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Then garnish with mint leaves and serve.

Chana Dal Keema is tasty dish. It is very common recipe in Pakistan. It is served with hot naan.
