Lakhnavi Daal

Ingredients:
- Arhar daal 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Whole red chilies 8
- Finely chopped green chilies 6
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Peeled & finely chopped garlic 6 cloves
- Finely chopped keri 1
- Ghee or Oil 1 cup
- Butter 2 tbsp
Method:
- Wash daal with lukewarm water and soak it.
- Now take out water, add lentil in fresh lukewarm water and cook it.
- Also put turmeric and stir it.
- When daal tender, grind in blender, put again in pot, put green chilies, red chilies, salt and keri and cook it nicely.
- When daal and masala combines, put butter.
- Before serving, heat daal, take out in bowl, heat ghee or oil, add garlic, fry until golden brown and put bhagar on daal.
- Serve daal with plain rice.
Lakhnavi Daal is delicious dish. It is prepared with arhar lentil. Try it with your method. It is served with rice.
