Ingredients:
- Cabbage 1
- Onion 1
- Cumin 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Desiccated coconut 1 cup
- Chicken cube 1
- Green chilies 2-3
- Salt to taste
- Sugar pinch
- Lemon juice 1/2
Method:
- Cook onion with cumin, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, green chilies and chicken cube until onion caramelize.
- Then add cabbage, cover it and cook until cabbage is soft.
- Then add coconut, cover it again and cook it.
- Now add onion, cover it and cook until it is ready.
- Then add sugar and lemon juice for flavor.
Foogath is vegetable dry side dish. It is Anglo-Indian recipe. It is prepared with cabbage & onion and served at lunch time.
