Chocolate Chip Crumb Cake

Ingredients:
Cake:
- Sugar 1 cup
- Unsalted butter 1 stick
- Eggs 2
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- Sour cream 1 cup
- Flour 2 cups
- Baking powder 2 tsp
- Baking soda 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Chocolate chips 1 cup
Crumb Topping:
- Sugar 1/2 cup
- Flour 1-1/4 cup
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Unsalted butter, melted 1 stick
Chocolate Sauce:
- Chocolate chopped 1/3 cup
- Unsalted butter 2 tbsp
Method:
- Spread butter and flour on tube style pan.
- Beat butter and
sugar until light and fluffy.
- Then add eggs, vanilla and sour cream and mix it.
- Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda and
salt in other bowl.
- Then put chocolate chips in a small bowl and mix with one tbsp of the flour mixture.
- Then mix flour mixture into wet
batter just until incorporated until it is mixed nicely and then mix chocolate chips.
- Pour it in prepared tube pan.
- For topping: Put the
sugar, flour, salt and melted butter in small bowl, mix with your hands and put on cake batter.
- Then bake in oven on 190 degrees C for 50
- 55 minutes or until crumb is light golden brown.
- Then cool it completely.
- For the sauce: Melt chocolate, mix with butter and spoon over cake.
