Prawn Toast

Ingredients:

  • Small prawns 1/2 kg
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Garlic slice 4-5 cloves
  • Mayonnaise 1 cup
  • Tomatoes 4
  • Vinegar 1 tsp
  • Bread slices 4
  • Crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves or Parsley 1/2 bunch
  • Salt to taste
  • Cheddar cheese 1 packet

Method:

  1. Marinate prawns with salt and garlic paste, fry it and keep it aside.
  2. Now fry garlic cloves and tomatoes slightly.
  3. Then put vinegar, black pepper, coriander leaves or parsley and salt in mayonnaise and mix it.
  4. Also add fried garlic cloves and tomatoes and mix is slightly.
  5. Now spread on bread slices.
  6. Keep fried prawns, put cheddar cheese, bake in oven on 180 degrees C for 10 minutes and serve.

Prawn Toast is Chinese dish. It is prepared with bread slices, topped with marinated prawns, cheese & tomatoes and baked in oven. It is common appetizer in Australia.
