Ingredients:

For Daal:

  • Masoor daal 1/2 kg
  • Ginger garlic 2 tsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Tamarind pulp 2 tbsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Chopped mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Green chilies 4

For Bhagar:

  • Ghee 1/2 cup
  • Crushed garlic 2 tbsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Whole red chilies 10

For Rice:

  • Rice 250 gm
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Fried onion 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. For daal: Boil water, add all ingredients and cook until daal tender.
  2. Now put tamarind pulp and all spice and take it out.
  3. Then put mint leaves and green chilies, give bhagar and serve with rice.
  4. For rice: Heat oil, put all ingredients and water, cover it and cook until is ready.
