Ingredients:
For Daal:
- Masoor daal 1/2 kg
- Ginger garlic 2 tsp
- Salt 1-1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder 2 tsp
- Coriander powder 2 tsp
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Tamarind pulp 2 tbsp
- All spice 1 tsp
- Chopped mint leaves 1/2 bunch
- Green chilies 4
For Bhagar:
- Ghee 1/2 cup
- Crushed garlic 2 tbsp
- Cumin 1 tsp
- Whole red chilies 10
For Rice:
- Rice 250 gm
- Oil 1/4 cup
- Cumin 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Fried onion 2 tbsp
Method:
- For daal: Boil water, add all ingredients and cook until daal tender.
- Now put tamarind pulp and all spice and take it out.
- Then put mint leaves and green chilies, give bhagar and serve with rice.
- For rice: Heat oil, put all ingredients and water, cover it and cook until is ready.
